1. Journal Ownership and Publisher

Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research (PESSR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal owned and published by CV. Rezki Media , Indonesia.

As the journal's owner and publisher, CV. Rezki Media is responsible for its organizational administration, publishing infrastructure, operational sustainability, and institutional support. The publisher provides the administrative and technical resources necessary to maintain the journal's publication activities, online accessibility, and long-term development.

Journal ownership does not imply ownership of the copyright in individual published articles. Copyright and licensing arrangements are governed by PESSR's Copyright Notice and Licensing Terms.

2. Institutional Collaboration

PESSR is published in collaboration with the International Association of Physical Education and Sports (IAPES) .

This collaboration supports academic networking, scholarly communication, scientific exchange, and the international development of research in physical education, sport sciences, and related disciplines.

Institutional collaboration does not confer authority over individual editorial decisions. The evaluation, peer review, acceptance, and rejection of manuscripts remain the responsibility of the journal's independent editorial team.

3. Editorial Management and Responsibilities

The academic and editorial management of PESSR is undertaken by the Editor-in-Chief, supported by the Editorial Board, Section Editors, peer reviewers, and editorial staff.

The editorial team is responsible for maintaining the scientific quality, academic integrity, and ethical standards of the journal. Its principal responsibilities include:

Evaluating submitted manuscripts for relevance, originality, scientific quality, and compliance with the journal's editorial policies.
Managing an objective and independent peer-review process involving qualified reviewers.
Making editorial decisions based on scientific merit, methodological rigor, ethical integrity, and scholarly contribution.
Addressing ethical concerns, complaints, appeals, corrections, and retractions in accordance with established publication ethics principles.
Ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability throughout the manuscript evaluation and publication process.

Editorial decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief or designated editors acting within their assigned responsibilities and in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.

4. Editorial Independence

PESSR is committed to maintaining editorial independence from its publisher, collaborating organizations, sponsors, and other external stakeholders.

Neither the publisher nor any collaborating institution may improperly influence manuscript evaluation, reviewer selection, peer-review recommendations, or final editorial decisions.

Manuscripts are assessed on the basis of their scientific merits, originality, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope, regardless of the authors' institutional affiliations, geographical origins, or professional standing.

All actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest involving authors, reviewers, editors, or the publisher must be disclosed and appropriately managed in accordance with the journal's Conflict of Interest Policy .

5. Financial and Operational Support

The operation and sustainability of PESSR are supported by CV. Rezki Media and revenue generated through applicable Article Processing Charges (APCs).

These resources support journal administration, manuscript processing, publishing infrastructure, online dissemination, digital maintenance, and other activities necessary for sustainable scholarly publication.

Financial considerations must not influence editorial judgments. Payment of publication fees does not guarantee manuscript acceptance, preferential treatment, or exemption from the journal's scientific and ethical evaluation standards.

The publisher is committed to providing adequate operational support while respecting the editorial autonomy of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.
