About the Journal

Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research (PESSR) has been certified as a Scientific Journal by the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (KEMENRISTEKDIKTI), Number: 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, since Volume 1, No. 2, 2022, valid until Volume 6, No. 1, 2027.

The Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research (PESSR) is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research papers and reviews in the fields of physical education, physical rehabilitation, and sports training. The journal is published three times a year (April, August, and December) by Rezki Media (registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on July 23, 2020, with the number AHU-038612-AH). It is published in collaboration with the International Association of Physical Education and Sports (IAPES) to strengthen academic networking and scientific exchange in sports sciences. The journal is dedicated to advancing sports science in the ASEAN region and beyond by providing a platform for researchers, scientists, and academics to publish their findings and share their knowledge with the broader scientific community. Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research (PESSR) welcomes submissions from researchers, scientists, and academics on topics including:

1. Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy
Teaching and learning in physical education, curriculum development, and instructional strategies in sport education, as well as technology and innovation in physical education learning.

2. Sport Training and Performance
Training methods and athlete development, strength and conditioning, and performance analysis in sport.

3. Sport Psychology and Athlete Behavior
Motivation and mental toughness, anxiety and psychological factors in sport performance, and athlete satisfaction and sport participation.

4. Physical Activity, Fitness, and Health
Exercise and health promotion, physical fitness and wellbeing, and lifestyle or physical activity interventions.

5. Sport Injury Prevention and Recovery
Injury prevention strategies, athlete recovery and rehabilitation, and biomechanics related to injury risk.

All submissions to Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and validity of the published research. The journal encourages the submission of papers that present innovative and original research, as well as those that advance new theories, methodologies, and techniques in the fields of physical education, physical rehabilitation, and sports training.

Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research is committed to promoting open access to scientific research and aims to make research accessible to a broader audience, including researchers and students in developing countries who may not have access to expensive scientific journals.
