- On February 20, 2025, the journal migrated from https://jse.rezkimedia.org/index.php/pes to https://journal.rezkimedia.or.id/index.php/pes.

- Start from Volume 4 Issue 1 2025, PESSR changed the cover and layout of the article. This is intended to improve the visibility and quality of the publication.

- We are pleased to announce that Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research (PESSR) has officially been accredited as a SINTA 3 journal, based on the results of the Scientific Journal Accreditation Period I of 2025 and the issuance of the Decree of the Directorate General of Research and Development Number 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, dated March 21, 2025.

- Effective in 2025, Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research (PESSR) adopts a tri-annual publication frequency to improve the dissemination of research findings.

- In May 2022, Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research collaborated with the International Association of Physical Education and Sports Incorporated (IAPES).

- In May 2022, the journal already had a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).

- In May 2022, the journal began to be registered with Crossref.

- In May 2022, ISSN (Online) successfully registered with ISSN (Online)

- Physical Education and Sports: Studies and Research was established on January 1, 2022, with editor-in-chief Mr. Yulingga Nanda Hanief.
