This issue presents <strong data-start="382" data-end="399">five articles</strong> that address current topics in sports injury, physical performance, injury prevention, and applied sports science across both competitive and community sport settings.</p> <p data-start="569" data-end="1398">The articles cover a range of themes, including an analysis of sports injuries following the implementation of the <strong data-start="684" data-end="729">2023 Pencak Silat competition regulations</strong> for athletes aged 17–35, and a <strong data-start="761" data-end="823">comparative descriptive study of physical fitness profiles</strong> between female long-distance and sprint swimmers at the Petrokimia Gresik Club. Injury prevention is further explored through a <strong data-start="952" data-end="1003">case study on head injury prevention strategies</strong> among boxers at HAN Academy Malang, as well as an examination of <strong data-start="1069" data-end="1128">dominant physical factors influencing volleyball skills</strong> using confirmatory analysis in a youth volleyball team. This issue also includes a <strong data-start="1212" data-end="1272">systematic review on the effects of the FIFA 11+ program</strong> on lower limb functional outcomes, highlighting evidence-based approaches to neuromuscular preparation and injury prevention.</p> <p data-start="1400" data-end="1745">Together, these contributions strengthen the scientific understanding of injury mechanisms, physical conditioning, and preventive strategies in sport. The studies emphasize practical implications for coaches, practitioners, and sports organizations, while also contributing to the growing body of research in sport, exercise, and injury science.</p> <p data-start="1747" data-end="2072">We sincerely thank all authors for their valuable contributions and for their commitment to producing rigorous and well-prepared manuscripts.
